Faraz Hussain-Protagonist

Faraz, is the protagonist of my music video, and the very reason I chose him for this was because he looks both like a rockstar as well as the depressed type, thanks to his long black hair, which does well to shroud his eyes so as to indicate that he doesn't wish any intensive social contact with anyone in his surroundings. In the video, he sits in a sullen mood, mourning constantly about his particular loss-that being his late friend, and the happy surroundings keep reminding him of that matter. In the end, however, he understands that his friend is not going to come back, but he must move on with his life, and so stops troubling himself to such a great magnitude.

Saad Tariq-Artist/Bandmate

Saad Tariq is a member of the band being promoted-which is Iris. Both a rhythm as well as a lead guitarist for the band, he is featured in the music video in order to signify both his role in the band, as well as in the music video. He acts as an hallucination of the protagonist, who feels that he can sense his presence. Both, however, act as if they can't see each other, since they belong to two separate worlds- reality and fantasy. In the end, both Saad and Faraz disappear, a clear indication that both their souls have moved on. In Faraz' case, he has moved on with his life and made new friends, and has stopped regressing about his past. In Saad's case, he has left this world for heaven, and beyond.
